A buddy of mine has a son that rides one with us all the time out at the dunes here in Utah. He does very well and he does like to jump. We nicknamed the kid "space". So yes they will do well in the dunes and then jump well. But that depends on the size of the rider...

I rode one a couple years ago in Glamis, and it was OK. It was a little underpowered, but the biggest disadvantage was its narrow width. You have to use lots of body english. I'm sure for smaller, lighter riders a Blaster would do just fine.

My son's Blaster is awesome in small and big dunes. It has excellent balance and jumps real well for lighter riders. I bottom the shocks easily. He takes it just about anywhere with confidence. I'm real impressed with the performance in sand. He's got 20x10x10 7-paddle haulers and 21x7x10 mohawks for the dunes.

Mine did pretty good out on the dunes. It wasn't fast enough to race, but i could get it up any dune and jump it pretty good. My farthest was about 40 feet and headhigh, but i'd always bottom out on the big ones.

My little brother has one with a pipe and silencer and normal razr tires. I have only been to the dunes once but his blaster went almost up anything at glamis.
