MXBUBS, a few people replied to your topic. Maybe you could take a moment to tell us which dunes you are talking about, OK or UT then somebody could help you out; if it's not too much trouble.

Turtle, if you're coming from Quebec you might as do it right and hit some good dunes at St. Anthony and/or Little Sahara. Those are probably the closest big dunes you are going to find. I suppose Silker Lake is the closest to you but I've never been there but don't think they are anything great from what I've read. I have 1 or 2 pics on my site of different dune areas with maps and directions if you are interested.
