What is the most powerful/fastest quad you have ever seen?? I only want to know if I'm wasting time thinking about building a sled engined 300 hp machine. On the other hand, it could be 400hp with a turbo, but I don't want to go that route.

"Sylvester"...at Little Sahara Dunes. Turbo Banshee. I'll try and get a pic. and theres also a B.A.250R with a banshee motor in a small 250R chassis that is barely even there. Id guess a 50ft swingarm (haha)...it was also at L.S.Dunes...both kick a$$ quads.

i was at some atv drags last weekend. the fastest quads there was a zilla with a gsx 1100 engine on nitrous and a 250r with a 1200cc triple 2 stroke snowmobile engine also on nitrous. i hear theres also a quad around here that runs 6 second quarter miles but he wasn't at the races this year.

I was just toying with the idea of a PSI Genesis 300 HP snomobilie motor in a quad. I've heard of the 300HP Banshee at Little Sahara, but I didn't know if it was a "term" or a dyno proven 300 HP. I'd hate to spend the time and money and get beat. That would suck.

My Raptor "968.4hp" J/K

I've also heard of a hopped up R1 motor in a banshee chasis running around in Pismo. Don't know the hps though.

juggalo that would be tom hills quad, with a hand made chassis a methanol breathing ,nitrous injected 780 rotax twin that does high 8's at over 150 mph in the quarter.not 6's.
yes there are some seriously fast over 400 horsepower quads inmy area that grass drag.these folks around here just aren't right, they are the ones i think need some tuning, not their machines.

I may be completely wrong, but I swear I saw a TrailBlazer in DW with that motor stuffed in it and the motor alone was $11,000?!?!?!?!

Check out the Supercase motors. Each cylinder can be a CR500, KX500 or KTM 500 in a single, twin, triple or inline 4 setup. There are four main bearings per cylinder. The owner, Marv, says a 3 cylinder can put out 350 HP naturally aspirated and can handle a huge amount of nitrous.
