Riding Cathole Road Trail in a drought

I wasn't joking, didnt know you had to register a quad to ride on trials. That sucks. We dont have to register, but it is against the law to ride on public roads, even though out in the rural parts we do and havent had anything said by local sheriff officers.I rode to the gas station one time and a sheriff's officer was there, the only thing that was said by him was "nice bike".

Yep, I imagine it's a little different down in Georgia than up here. Mass., Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire all require registrations. There used to be reciprocity between NH and VT but not anymore. We ride Maine and NH now and I did a little riding in VT as I have property up there. But I'm not going to buy 3 registrations x 2 quads. At least the states I've ridden in put most of the money back into the trails for the ATV clubs to buy materials and whatever is needed to maintain the trails.

Well as long as most of the money is being put back into the trails I wouldnt have as much problem with it. The closest riding area to me is state owned. I have riden there a couple times, it is maintained well just it is all two way trails and kinda dangerous. I pefer the private owned riding places, they are just farther away. Most of the time I just ride at the hunting land.
