got a mess of gills a few weeks back!

Nice! I see a crappie or two in there as well. Good times! We do this once a year at my dads lake in an effort to control the population, in hopes of producing larger bass. These fish compete for the same food as bass do. So far... there have been some good results. Now we need to concentrate on fattening those bass up. Cool pics, thanks for sharing!

we caught a mess(well 60 to be exact) not too long ago. All were 9-10 inches. Then i caught a 12" bluegill on a big spinner while bass fishing. like an idiot i ate it. never catch one again probably,but i do or did have pictures.

lakes around madison wi have them big bulls 9 to 10 "...and yep you probably never will catch another 12.
