wetlands are also on privite property. how do i know this well there is a local farmer who wanted to drain a untillable spot. but it was only wet a few times of the yr. but he still couldnt becuse it is considered a wetland. just cuz it dont say it. dont mean its not. and ill bet it covers privit property.

added:

rivers run though privite property, and lakes are near privite propety. just cuz ur the owner of the land, you still cant do whatever you want. you should beable to. i think so. but its kinda like hunting (i dont hunt and never will, plus i see no reason to pay for a permit to hunt animals that the state or the dnr dont own. i can see certain times of the yr, or regulate how many ea person can have. but not the buying part.) but anyways back to what i was saying. you may own the land. but you dont own the wild animals. so you have to pay the state to hunt them. if you dont have a licance you get a fine. if you have more than the licance says you get fined.

i say laws should be passed like they elect presedents. not let it up to the people who sit in the office.

its only a matter of time before its gona push alota people over the edge and theres gona be other issues.

It's truly amazing. Every since the new administration has taken office, the tree huggers have been coming outa the wood work like worms after summer rain. Sad thing is...seeing some of these redicilous laws passed. Especially concerning private property.

I knew someone that lived close to a wetland/swamp and would go out and tear stuff up just for fun in the spring but when we would go out there a year later you couldn't tell where we had been and plant growth was a lot more after in the areas we rode. I think state or county power lines do more damage then what we do. By me they come through every so often and tear stuff up with huge machines to service stuff and get through the many swamps by me but we are the ones that are against the law if we ride there ...Why? just because when we ride it doesn't have a positive effect on our taxes or generating money for the state. I understand wetlands but what are we ruining by driving or putting ruts into the soil...no fish live in the wetlands. frogs yeah but also there's another wetland that's close to a road by me and every yr when frogs mate they cross the road by the hundreds and get ran over so if it was important for wetland animals then why don't they close off the road when that happens?
doing so would be an inconvenience to drivers and home owners but as long as the wetlands are safe then nobody cares I think it's bull. Pretty soon there going to tell us we can't walk through the woods to hunt because we'll destroy their habitat. Are we going to start fencing in wetlands because deer and animal trails get pretty packed down from them walking on them all the time and are we going to let them commit suicide because they are ruining their habitat. what a crock.
