In market for used quad
I just bought my son a used kazuma falcon 110.....needed nothing other than fresh fluids and a battery. Now my daughter is needing an atv. She is 14 and has only ridden a few times. Not an experienced rider by any means. I want to get her something big enough for me to enjoy as well. I am not really an experienced rider either but I think we both have enough common sense to respect the vehicle. Have been scoping craigs list, ebay and local ads for something reasonable, cant afford a new one.
I have come across a 2004 kawasaki prarie 360 4x4.....looks like a very well kept machine, whats it worth? Aslos saw an '07 polaris hawkeye 300 that looks like new, what's that worth? Would love any input or advice on what to buy and ideas on used pricing. Thanks

If you want to ride it too then I definately have to say the Kawasaki Prairie 360 because IMO the Hawkeye is small (I never liked them anyway).
The Prairie is a much tougher and better sized machine. And, again IMO, is one of those machines that is on my toughnuts4ever list. With proper maintenance and care it will last a long time. And with the front locker the Prairie will go places.
Another suggestion is you might want to look at some Yamaha Bruins (350). Although it doesn't have quite the 4WD system of the Prairie (no front locker) it too makes my toughnuts4ever list.
Not sure of the going prices though.
Hope you get something soon and get out there and have a blast with the kids!
