Need Help: Snow Plow or Snow Blower?

I would go with the plow. I would also find a cheap old garden tractor to attach it to. I had an old david bradley with a plow and never had a problem with it. I could do my drive (it was almost a quarter acre) in almost an hour down to the rocks. I thought I was being cool and traded it for a brand new walk behind blower and it took hours just to get enough to get the cars in and out. It worked great but slow.

interesting thread! i have a wb-blower (8hp) that works well here in ND. have had a plow on my Honda Rancher 4x4 for last two years and we use that to move ice chunks and street-piles but it is harder to maneuver than the blower, and not that effective on lighter/less volume. in short, YOU NEED BOTH! i wouldn't want to give up either any more...
I agree on both. ATV blowers are quite common up here, and do work well, as along as they are properly matched to the quad they are on.
