Best Synthetic 2 Stroke Oils?
Who makes the best synthetic oil for 2 strokes? Engine/tranny oil and premix oil?
I use Mobil1 Racing 4T 10-40w in my four strokes, but the best stuff they sell for 2 strokes where I work (CAP) is Castrol 2T Motocycle Oil at half the price I payed for the Mobile1 4T. I am using it in my lt250r quad racer, all 2 stroke oil is the same right, weight wise?

I only use Honda HP2 full syn. 2 stroke oil at 20:1. I used to run 32:1 but after this high priced rebuild I'll stay pretty rich. Haven't fouled a plug yet and it's running real strong. As far as tranny oil, I use Honda full syn. gold ( can't recall What weight ). But everybody has there own recipe. As far as I know all mix oil is the same weight.

Thanks you guys! But between me and my brother, we were thinking about trying to find like a 5 gallon drum of racing synthetic oil and just use that all year long because when you buy anything in bulk its much less. It just comes down to WHO sells it like that. Also my tranny I think I am suppose to use 20-40w or something like that, so what would be better 20w or 40w ATF? I don't understand how or why there is a variable weight on tranny fluid?
