Hmmmm...I say try giving your local department of motor vehicles ( or where ever you register your vehicles) a call and ask them what hoops you need to jump through to get your quad registered. Good Luck!!!!!

have you owned it since new? or did u just buy it? if you just bought it, i hope you got a bill of sale from the guy, i wouldn't buy anything with a vin number without one(and some things without one that cost alot). if u know the guy you bought it off of, or still have his number, give him a call so you can work something out. i know in indiana thats all i needed was the bill of sale, and the police needed to run a check on the vin number and give me a copy of a piece of paper prooving its not on a stolen list.

For one thing, in Massachusetts you can't legally ride anywhere but 3 state parks in the Western part of the state. Another, is you can't legally ride on any road other than those parks even if it is registered. I live in Mass. and ride in Maine and NH. I think pretty much what draarong said is the answer. You probably need at a minimum a bill of sale with the VIN number on it.

How far are you, from NY? I can get paperwork here in NY relatively easy.

In mass- all you will need is a bill of sale if there's no title. I'v been there . Just write one up and sigh it . Tip- pay the sales tax on line and print the transaction up. Then bring your BOS & the TAX reciept - no proba
