since both "coke" & "pepsi" fall under the classification of "soda, pop, or tonic".
for example- when you walk into say.... BK, you ask what kind of "soda, pop or tonic" do they have...
they reply- "coke, sprite, rootbeer, orange ...."
asking what kind of "coke" do they have really makes no sense because coke is synonymous with that "soda / pop or tonic" in a red can called coca-cola?
I could be wrong- just thinking how it could get confusing for the server...
