the short answer is no fl has a rule agains ohv conversions.

Have i done it, yes. Did a RZR and a Ranger so far.

Will i tell you how to do it, yes after the one i am building is done. I wont post it on here but i am sure someone will and then the dmv will be looking.

There are some city ordinances that do not allow even with a fl tag i can only think of one in my county, i had two cops approach ,e and say wtf r u doing u think u can ride that wherever u want. I said officer it is street legal. He walked back looked at tag, i handed him ins and registration. His attitude changed smiled and said have a nice day cool ride.

Second question asked was what if it has a tag from another state? I cant quote statute off top of my head but FL State Trooper did and said drive it down the turnpike i dont care just dont go under min speed limit. If it is an LSV different story, both mine were classified as suv/trucks etc.

I have a dealers license so i have a private num i call and the head cheese looks at a title and says yes or no.

Be prepared it will cost you no less that 10 to 12k soup to nuts 15. If you buy it right less, if it already has credentials less also.
