Default Back rest for ATV rider?

Does anyone know if they make a back rest type thing for the ATV driver?

Polaris makes the lock and ride backrest that attaches and detaches in seconds.

Ok thanks, i was looking at those. I saw one that had the storage compartment with it, but does it come up far enough for you to use it efficiently?

It comes up high enough to be comfortable but I mainly use it for taking breaks. I put it all the way back and don't use it at all when I ride, except if I'm on a road. On the trails it's too bumpy and it can hit you in the back. I don't plan on getting one on my next quad.

So its probably not a good idea to get the one with the the storage box?

That's a nice looking box. A friend of mine has a big box with a backrest and loves it. It's a personal thing whether you like it or not. If you don't like leaning against it when you ride you can scoot ahead an inch or two like I do.

Like Jumbofrank said that is a sharp looking box. Looks like it would be comfortable to lean against while taking a break. Could be pretty nasty on trails with lots of whoops.

Seems like that box would be awfully far back to actually use as a backrest and still be able to reach the handlebars...if that is your plan. I guess that I think of those boxes with the backrest being aimed at either a passenger or for the rider during breaks...well I guess if you arms are about five feet long that would be ok too!
