Default Yfz 450r stock vs kfx 450r stock

Me and my bro are arguing... He has a kfx and i have a yfz... Lets pretend mine is stock even though mines not even close to stock, tell me which one is just flat out overall better stock for stock, wich one handles best, best torque, best top speed, best mid range, best low end, best suspension, etc. i think the yfz but i wanna hear opinions out there.

There is no one easy answer as both machines are in the same class, yet aimed at a different rider. Stock vs stock, the YFZ does have better suspension and handling for track and dunes. Tighter trails and the KFX wins out with stronger rims, a more trail friendly stance, and reverse of course. Motor wise they are likewise similar. The Yamaha is a little bit stronger stock, but the Kawie responds better to bolt on mods. Once you start to build them, all bets are off and it becomes a race as to who can find the bottom of their checking account. I am a Yamaha guy personally, but Kawasaki did a great job with that machine and I would be happy to own one.

I think the YFC 450 is alittle faster not by much. The KFX is a better looking machine and is great for trail riding.

All the 450 ATVs have the motocross 450 motorcycle motors in them, so its splitting hairs which one is faster.
In 2010 the KTM 450 motor had the edge though and it was the only bike in the group using a carb not EFI. 2010 KTM 450 SX-F Comparison - Motorcycle USA
