I don't understand what you mean by "a serious 4x4 ATV to be made that's not a CVT"
For a weak system that's all the bad boys use.

Honda has the best second best system.

I think he agrees with you, he was talking to me because I don't like cvts, just not a fan is all. Why change atvs so often if they don't have any problems? Seems like you don't give them enough time to start having problems. If I changed atvs every 3 months then I guess I'd go with a can am or polaris too but being that I buy with the intention to keep them forever, I prefer a honda.

Just want someone to name a non CVT 4x4 that has broken the 40hp barrier ever in the history of ATVs.

Yamaha,Suzuki,Can-AM,Kawasaki and Polaris all got it wrong with the CVT and OHC motors.
The odd man out Honda that comes dead last in every 4x4 shootout has it right?

TLC, let's just agree to disagree. I could agree with you on the fact that Hondas could use a output increase but let's not forget the reason people buy Hondas- because they are reliable and make by far the ATVs with the most overall quality. Honda will never make a ATV to compete with polaris or Can am just like they will never make a bike to compete with the quality of a honda. Can Am still has frame cracking issues with the G2 chassis and lots of them! Maybe just as many as they did with the old G1. Polaris has problems with just about everything on their new XPs. Including bearing rod issues that throw the rod thru the block. Honda will never have those issues and if they did it would be addressed as soon as possible. Brp and polaris don't want to hear about it. Why buy a warranty? Here are some links directly from polaris and can am forums. I've never seen on a honda forum the issues pile up like this

HEY NOW!!! Let's not make this a which atv is best thread.... LMAO!
This is just like the old ford vs chevy
or jeep vs Toyota
There is never a winner in these debate! Trust me I would love to jump in on this and join team Honda, but we are all brand bias and will not be swayed on a forum!
I personally will always want a Honda, but that is just me. I have a buddy that will only buy Polaris. We bicker each other every time some one brings up the subject of buying a new atv.

i've been pretty happy with my Suzuki, seems like a good middle ground really
as for EPS i highly recommend it, it's made my life a lot easier same goes for IRS you can ride so much longer without getting wore out or if you have back issues it's very nice
