My Scrambler will not shut off with either the ignition key or kill switch. When I put the kill switch in run position the neutral light comes on and the ignition key will start the engine but neither one will shut it off. Any suggestions??

Trace the black wire from the ignition switch where it ties in with the black cdi kill wire and left control switch. May have a wiring short or wire unplugged. You can ohm out th key switch and check connections on the left control switch. Spray some electrical cleaner into the control switch and work the controls back and forth. Left control switches can go out, plus in rare cases the kill circuit black wire from the cdi can short out not allowing the ignition switch or control switch to kill the spark.

Tried all you suggested still not shutting off. Ohmed out ignition switch and left handle bar switch assembly and have a good ground in off position going to black wire splice where 01BLK & 03BLK splice together just before going into CDI box. Also connected a jumper from C (chassis ground) to same splice point as stated above with engine running and engine would not shut down. Could the CDI box be bad? The wire from the splice point is a short wire and looks ok physically. Would you have any more suggestions? I appreciate your help.

Then sounds like the cdi kill circuit(black wire) could be faulty. I've found that on several machines over the years. You might look into the cdi I posted or if you don't want to spend the $ you can kill the machine down with the choke. Had several people that did that instead of replacing the cdi..
