What's your longest single day ride?

That is very good fuel economy indeed.

I rode just under 20 miles today and used about 1.5 gallons so the BF is not as terrible on fuel economy as I thought it might be. I estimate about 60-65 miles on a full tank(4.8 gallons). The dual carb setup definitely consumes more fuel than most. And yes it does have a fuel shutoff under the seat but I just leave it on all the time anyway. But yes I have read that especially newer efi quads do get much better fuel economy. The Grizzly 700 claims about 21 mpg so it can get well over 100 miles per tank. I seldom go on very long rides so fuel range will most likely never be an issue anyway.

I've done about 125 miles a few times going up to Pittston Farm from Jackman, ME and back. Mix of rough and wide open. About 20 mph average speed. I was testing my Outlander 650 on one of the rides to Pittston Farm and I wanted to know how far I could go on the measly 4.4 gallon tank. About 90 miles. That 5 minutes to stop and use the Rotopax to put a couple gallons in cost us a good soaking. Felt good though after being on a dusty, hot ride.
I don't think EFI's have a fuel shut off of any kind. The system has to be pressurized by the pump to function so it would take a bit to start it with no fuel in the line. Just my own thoughts.

I'm not exactly sure what my longest ride was but I've gone 120+ miles in a day a few times. That's enough to make my butt hurt. A couple of days ago I did about 80 miles which is much closer to an average ride. We could cover a lot more ground without all the beer breaks but most of my friends drink.
