Hey yall! I have a Z400 that is basically ruined due to getting dirt in the motor.. I know it won't be cheap but can someone break down everything I will need for it! I know basically everything that moves needs replaced

 

It's not cut and dry what you will need until it's torn down. But the basics would be piston and rings ( and possibly a bore ), top end gasket set, oil change, maybe a shim kit to properly adjust the valves, and determine the reason dirt got into the engine and remedy ( running without an air filter ? )

 

How did you get dirt in the engine? I had a Z400 and it seems like that would be tough to do.
