i hope u used a ****** block or something at the back of the quad to keep the back of the machine anchored down.. With no anchor at the back that will flip you over pretty quick. Other option is to turn around and winch and do it in reverse.

So, you routed your winch cable under your ATV and lowered yourself down the incline? Wow... you put ALOT of pressure on the front of your machine, greatly enhancing the machines tendency to want to flip plus wearing a big gouge in the skid plate or other suspension parts if the cable slipped to the side... I find it a bit far stretched that this particular spot is the ONLY way in to wherever your going....

Yes I should have mentioned: DONT TRY THIS UNLESS YOUR ATV IS SET UP FOR BACK WINCHING! It requires some special equipment.

I made my own "****** block": its just a steel u-bolt attached to the hitch that I ran the winch cable through.

make sure to watch your fairleed especially if its a roller. They were never designed to take the load that way it will bend, or break the bearings or bushings. I found out the hard way a few times..
