ok you yamaha buff's. sell me on the good and bad points of the rhino. i know that i would take a rhino over a ranger any day cause well the rangers are high maintanence and very heavy. what kind of warranty you get with the rhino. what kind of top end i heard the governor cuts you off at about 40 mph. can you get a different cdi to take care of the governor or do you need to get a whole new stater plate? what kind of low end grunt does it have say compared to the grizzley? (my buddy has a grizz so i could make a half a$$ed educated guess) what kind of ride does it have? how much does it weigh? ok thats it for now sorry for so many questions i been around alot of rangers cause i live 15 miles from the polaris factory but never even drivern a rhino only seen a couple of them and always looking to get something to shut the polaris boys up already did that in the atv department now i wanna do it in this one. THANK YOU

All I can say is "Go Ride One", you will be definitely surprised!! There are a few cdi upgrades for this as well but for me it goes pretty good stock. You can do a surch on Rhino and find lots of info on it too. Good luck. I think the Rhino will be my next big purchase.

I heard that you can switch out the cdi box with the one from the Grizzly.
The power and handling of these machines is awesome.
The low end grunt is great.
If you buy one you will run circles around those Rangers!
Like others have said drive it you will be impressed.

I heard of too many horror stories of switching it with the Grizzly but there is a company out there that makes a cdi for it by Black Rhino and believe they are a member on this forum. Do a search and you will find it.

My dad has one and from what ive found riding one of them they are kinda loud. (which doesnt bother me im from a younger generarion) the engine is sitting right in the middle maybe alittle behind. but its not to bad just dont think about sneaking up on anything. they run alot better than a muel 3010 got one of them too. my dad has some itp mudlights on it and it would run pretty fast, wouldnt hit the rev limiter i wanna say 58 MPH . what i herd with the whole CDI thing is the kodiak cdi use it. i first hand have tried a stock grizzly cdi, stock raptor cdi, aftermarket raptor cdi, got bad results from all of them it make it way to rich "burnt my eyes". But Power, oh my god i love it just never seems to quit accelerating it feels like my firends piped and jetted kfx700 its just unreal. loads of torque and trust me we had that thing loaded down WAY WAY over the limit and it never missed a beat pulls like a dread rides like a caddy. also my dad got Some windows and the speedometer for it. But the all in all best thing about them is they look as mean as they run you will not be dissapointed PLUS ive seen sites where they put pipes and suspension on them. basically anything you can buy 4 a quad u can get it for them

thank you very much for your input everyone if i get a sidebyside this summer it will deffinately be a rhino. a couple more ?'s ok one is what is the MSRP for one of them. and that is great hearing all i would have to replace is a cdi cause on the ranger's you gotta replace the stater plate and who da heck wants to go through all that work besides one of my buddies had one last year and it was in the shop more then he drove it. another major thing keeping me from it right now is the nearest yamaha dealership is about 2 hours from here. but it was pretty fun making fun of my supervisor about them today he used to be a supervisor at polaris and has a ranger and he was telling me from everything he heard polaris is the best of the best for the side by side and i keep hearing that the rhino is and you are right they look badass. and i guess the rangers are loud to so that isn't really a big deal cause i will be putting a cd player and speakers in it. oh and i was gonna ask about cabs do they have a good selection of them? and can i get an actual glass windshield for it? the plastic ones i guess scratch easily and you can't see through them.

I Heard that they were kinda slow(top end) but they have lots of torque. DirtWheeles put an HMF on thier project rhino and said it made a he\\ of a differance. They also did somthing to the electircal system to override the rev-limiter or sumtin like that. They put elka shocks on it too.

my brother has one with the hmf pipe and grizzly cdi. he found out too late about the black rhino cdi, the only glitches with the grizzly cdi are the reverse light is always on and you can't run the new digital dash with it (who looks at the speedometer anyway).

It feels like it is ALWAYS spinning the tires when I drive it, there is no lack of power on bottom or top. He has no trouble keeping up with quads and even jumps it like one. It has plenty of power to blip the throttle getting the front end up. CVT takes some getting used to, just keeps on accelerating. Super smooth ride, and he rarely needs to put it in 4wd.
