The Rhino will go places my ATV won't.
BUT, I highly recommend getting a front/back winch, since it's not easy to get unstuck.
Also, be aware that there have been some injuries with people sticking thier feet out when the thing feels like it's tipping, so have someone weld something in there to keep that from happening.
But it is not "tippy", unless you go crazy with it, which sometimes I do.

I don't own a Rhino, ... yet. But I did drive my friends Rhino for 52 miles, two weeks ago, and I thought it did great. We rode an old motorcycle desert race course in northwest Arizona, that included sand dunes, countless miles of sand whoops, fast sand washes, rockcrawling on slickrock, and a few fast roads. I rode our Kodiak 450, and switched back and forth between that and my friends Rhino all day. I hate to say it, but the Rhino did better than the Kodiak pretty much everywhere (except the sand dunes). It does not feel tippy, the suspension is better, handling is better, and it has more power than the Kodiak. And they are t o u g h little buggers too. My friend hit a BIG rock with his Rhino at 40 mph, because he thought he had enough ground clearance to miss the rock, but didn't quite clear it. The impact was so hard that it sent the Rhino airborne, and made the hood pop open, the glovebox pop open, and the center console pop open. We had coolers, flashlights, maps, and all kinds of crap spread across the desert by the time my friend got his Rhino stopped. He was shaking so hard afterwards that he almost couldn't talk, because he had thought he was a dead man, LOL. All it did to the Rhino was put a big dent in the front of the skidplate, and thats it. The tie rods on a Rhino are as big as the tie rods on an F-150 pickup, and they are bigger than the tie rods on a half ton Chevy pickup. The Rhino will be great at trail riding, my friend went places with his Rhino that made me real nervous to go on the Kodiak, and the Rhino did them with ease. I liked the Rhino so much that I told our dealer to reserve one for me, ... too bad it wont get here until December.
[edit] Edited to change the word "t o u g h". Sorry, but I'm tired of advertising for Polaris every time I type that word. Hey ATV Connection, can I buy the word fast, so that every time someone types the word fast it takes them to my web site?

My siblings both got Rhino LE's and I finally took a ride. What fun that was!! I was looking at the Arctic Cat Prowler, but they won't be released till Dec/January, so I think I'll go with the Rhino LE too.

I just picked up my new Rhino last night, and already have 16 miles of night riding on it. I went and did a t o u g h Jeep rockcrawling trail with it, and it did great, including the rock waterfalls that stock Jeeps cant do. The under belly now has a few rock kisses on it, but no damage except to the paint on the skidplates .
I also stopped by one of my neighbors houses last night, because I saw his brand new Arctic Cat Prowler in his driveway. That Prowler looks huge compared to a Rhino, especially when comparing vehicle width (7 inches wider). I had wanted to take my Rhino on ATV trails, so had decided against the Prowler when I saw it was 61" wide. After seeing one in person, parked next to my Rhino, I'm glad I didn't get one. Although except for the extra width, and extra weight, the Prowler looks like it will be a great machine. It definitely has a better under hood storage bin, better tires, better wheels, better suspension, better dash guages, better seats, better roll bar, and better bed than the Rhino. You definitely get more for your money with the Prowler than you do with the Rhino, ... if it just weren't for the extra width .

Well, that's the thing, isn't it.
Here in Southern California, there are actually metal poles filled with concrete at the entrance to many ATV trails to keep Jeeps out. But the Rhino fits, but JUST BARELY...
The Prowler would be left behind. It wouldn't be able to go down those trails anyhow, with that width, without crashing into bushes and trees.
When you get something like the Prowler, maybe it just makes more sense to get a Wrangler...
