Finally got to drive my new Rhino
#1
I traded in my '04 Rincon for a Rhino 2 weeks ago. I had ridden in one at the dunes but never had driven one. So, I guess it was sort of a blind trade. I hurt my back the day before I took delivery so I was unable to drive it until yesterday. Took a little getting used to. I have never had a belt drive and was disappointed at first. I liked the Rincon tranny better than anything out there and the belt drive was such a change. Kept waiting for it to change gears but knew it wouldn't. After a couple of hours behind the wheel, I was much more pleased with it. I think it is a keeper. My wife was always hesitant about riding the Rincon but she took to it like a duck to water. . After hitting low branches, brush, etc. I told her to take a rest and we would try it again because I think there is a couple of trees she missed.
It would limit out at 41 mph. I understand a controller will help that.

glad to hear it grew on you. i had the same problem with my ranger, as I expected it to be like my DS650. After a while though, I learned that it could do things my DS650 couldn't do, like take 2 or more people up a hill
granted the input from riding isn't the same, but they are each respectably different.
