Whoa, a car that I assume is wider than 60 inches can deliver Pizza, but you can't ride a Side by Side wider than 50 inches... Hmmm, I am confused....

Hey I am old... Just happy to be able to see the grass and not be looking at the roots. I think all this discussion centers around teh fact that every state has different laws. WV has totally changed it's tax base from coal to a recreation economy, so they obviously need to expand their customer base to include those of us with wider machines. Fact is, the HM is now opening at least one trail system to Jeeps and other Highway based 4x4s. Not sure how that is going. I don't care to have a 4000 lb 4x4 blasting down the trails that my kids are riding on, but I understand what is going on here. Utah has other ideas, and of course, they have the federal government involved, which is always an invitation for disaster. And none of this is ever going to change. I think one of the reasons HM can do it is that the majority of their trails are utilizing old logging and coal mine roads. Which are already pretty wide. They are not openning narrow trails. I suspect trails in Kentucky and Virginia, which are in the build stage will have that in mind as they get their's in place.
