Not surprised. I think there is a huge movement among gun owners to "get it while we can". They are starting to work on legislation now. Given the current administration, congress, and senate, I think you'd have to be naive to believe they aren't going to try to ban something or tax it to price out of most peoples abilities to buy.

 

we stocked up ! yep hoarded! when we figuured obama mama was going to win, I wonder how many cast bullets can be made out of 500 pounds of lead? got enough powder,primers, bullets for hunting loads, buckets of casings 30006,308.plenty of everything The Oldman says we got enough of everything for the rest of our life.

 

I've often played the, "what if they come for my guns", scenarion in my mind. Unfortunetly we'll still be out-gunned if it ever came to the point where a citizen has to defend against his government. What ever happened to a government that was afraid of its citizens? It has become a government that its citizens fear.

 

Yep, they're hard to find alright, for the same reasons as ammo. Get used to it. It's going to take a long time for the manufacturers to rebound from this mess.

 

On a positive note, this is one industry that is not losing jobs but hiring more people and equipment to try and meet demand.
