New Springfield Armory 1911
#3
If 1 1911 is good then 2 should be even better. I just couldn't resist. I bought this SA Loaded Ultra Compact for CC. It was a tough decision over the Kimber Crimson Carry II. But w/ SA Lifetime Guarntee and their renowned customer service, I stayed w/ SA.
I ordered a set of these last nite that are being made up for the 4" Loaded Champion.
Luke of Adams Holsters is helping me w/ an Ostrich holster w/ Shark trim to match the grips. It will be a 2-3 months before I get the holster/belt but I'm very confident it will be worth the wait. Damn, I love living in an open carry state!

My leather is on its way. I changed my plan on grips. The holstermaker was nice enough to send some ostrich leg to this gripmaker, Home Page for some exotic skin grips for both 1911's. They will be here in a couple weeks. Got my CC certificate weekend before last too. Can't wait to get everything together.

I like the Champion but the Ultra Compact feels so good when shooting. The Range Officer is getting pretty popular. I might try the Mil-Spec instead of the GI. The GI not having the lowered and flared ejection port has a lot of guys not very happy w/ brass hitting em in the head/face.
