Hello from Springfield, Missouri
#1
I'm 57 yrs old and live in Springfield. It takes me 40 minutes from the time I decide to go riding until I get unloaded at Cobb Ridge Chadwick Missouri.
I've been unemployed from mid Sept. 08 so I go riding once or twice a week depending on the weather.
My main ride for the trails is an 05 Honda Rincon. I also have an 07 Yahama TW200 which I mostly ride around town and on country roads.

Welcome to ATVConnection!
Cobb Ridge looks like a great place to Camp and Ride!
I should add it to my list of places I'd like to visit!
What do I need to know before I drive that way?

Cobb Ridge has the only full service hook-ups for camping at Chadwick but I just like parking there to start my ride. Day parking and rough camping, which is free, is three or four hundred yards past the overnight campground where the water and elic. hook-ups are. There are other parking and rough camping areas but Cobb Ridge is close to the middle of the riding area.

I wish I was a little closer to that place. I live in Southern Illinois. I looked it up and im about 5 hours away. $45 for a yearly pass is very reasonable. I'm about 2 hours from St Joe State Park, that's about the closest park in MO from me though I have never been there. I have parks closer to me in Illinois that I usually go to.
