Problem one:

ATVC forums occasionally crash my browser, since it's rather random my guess is that one of the ads is not compatible with my browser. This may not be a problem right now for the forum, but I'm running IE7 so it will be a problem in the future if nothing is changed before it shows up on the average joe's windows update.

Problem two:

Having cookie type problems. Site remembers login, and when I go to the forum index I see the blue folders next to the topics with new posts. But when I open those topics none of the threads have the blue folder and none of the new posts have the (NEW) designation in them. This just happened to me yesterday and despite cleaning the cache/cookies/temp/etc and trying another computer I have not been able to resolve it.

Any input would be appreciated, but the first problem is primarily early warning.

Im having trouble too. Im using firefox, and if i have more than 2 tabs open, of atv connection, itll stall. Most of the time i need to do a force quit to bail out.
If i just keep one tab open, itll be real slow, but wont lock up. In the past, ive been able to have at least 5 tabs open, and run just fine.

Cookies seem to be working again, threads are showing up blue.

Still crashing on occasion, but that's as much my fault as anyone else's.

Edit: I have always ran about a dozen tabs at a time, if not more. I'm running slimbrowser over IE7, but it also shuts down the browser if I just use IE by itself with or without tabs.

Do you guys use "descending" for how your messages are sorted? I use fire fox and usually have a minimum of a dozen tabs open in at least 2 windows, and dont have any problems.

"Descending" really helps with the forum speed. It is hard to read at first, but you get used to it. Now the normal way(Ascending) seems weird to me..

Doesnt matter if its acending or decending for me. I also have the avatars switched off. Still freezes up with more than 3 tabs open.
And even with one tab open, its very slow.

I'm running a virus scan, adware scan and have two tabs open on firefox and it's running fine here.
