I got 3 emails today announcing a new post to a topic I am subscribed. This seemed to start after the recent crash or whatever happened a few days ago.

 

Does anyone know how to stop this emails. Im new to the place but dont really want the extra junk mail.

First thing you gotta do is uncheck the little box to the left of this sentence when you post: "Subscribe to this topic" and receive email notifications of replies". The more you post the more you subscribe.

Once youve posted and not done that... click topic tools in the upper right of the tread. Click subscribe to this thread. then click unsubscribe.

But if you forget to do the first step you gotta go thru the second step again.
