I just re-read that. Are you saying that there are ***** enlargment ads? That's just not right if so. There are many young people who visit this site.

I've been using Google Chrome and it's been faster than IE7 or Firefox but i'll try the adblock on firefox and see if it helps.
The only thing I don't like about G-Chrome or firefox is having to "reload" the page constantly to see new posts or reply's.

OK, I just put the adblocker on firefox and the banner ads are gone, so that helps a little bit. Firefox is about the same as G-Chrome now. I'm on a dial up connection so what can I expect, right?! LOL!

Thanks Koopa for the tip on how to install the Adblocker!

I hope you get your probs worked out MT!

The addons and extensions is the very reason I use firefox. Chrome just don't have the support yet. Well, that and stoopid Google didn't release a mac version.

Thanks Rancher55. I'm quite sure that you are a Windows user, not a Mac user.

Being a Mac 10.5 user, it just doesn't make sence to be a member of this forum anymore because it takes 3 min to load any page or make a post.

I agree 100% that Windows users have no problems. That is how I am able to post right now.

Noone from management has come foward to explain why Mac users are experiencing this problem..............and I'm equally suprised that more Mac folks arn't complaining.....maybe it's because they can't post or have just moved on.

I have too many friends here to throw in the towel. My use of this computer will end soon. Hopefully the owner's put in a little more effort here to fix things soon.

I have to agree a bit there mtpockets. I originally thought the update (yesterday morning I think it was) was to fix us. It is a burden loading the page. Takes FOREVER to do anything. I get it loading then go about my business and return if I get a chance.

I understand problems but, are the problems being addressed? I have all Macs and I don't want to here that "macs not compatible crap". This is the internet. The only sites I can't access are Microsoft download sites. Will anything be done about this slowness? Like mtpockets says if not I have to move on, I can't handle this much longer. : (

Have our prayers been answered mtpockets? At a glance I'm not having any problems! Jumped around a few topics and pages pop right up!

Still acting up but, not near as bad. About 1 out of every 4 page views it stops loading and crawls like it did last week. Usually a click of the refresh button will allow the page to reload and pop right up.

And an FYI to any developer listening the buttons labeled "<<" "1" "2" "previous" "last" "unread" seem to have the bottom quarter cut off of the button. I'm not being nit picky it don't bother me. Just a heads up. : )
