Look I have a on-going big problem.

Using Mac Firefox it takes 3 minuets to load a post or page.

Using Windows XP IE it's quick as can be.

Using either method, I'm not receiving email topic replies( yes I click on the box everytime I reply)

Also, I requested my password be sent to me "Forgot Password" and it was never sent.

What's going on here?

I use firefox on Vista and it loads fairly quickly. Not as fast as on XP but vista basically sucks and is most likely the reason Microsoft is having financial difficulties. IMO

As for the email....have you checked your spam folder?

 

Google Chrome has been working really well for me compared to IE7.

Windows XP IE works great. And i'm on it right now. BUT, I need to be able to do it from my Apple Mac Safari or Firefox because I will not have access to this computer in a short while.

Any phone #'s for the contacts on the list? I don't have much time left.

 

Only number is for sales.

Even before the server switch, I had trouble with ff at the house not working on the site, but ie would do just fine. Pretty sure that's just something I've done wrong.

Hope you get back up and running on the mac soon.

Here's a recap of my problems:

-For some reason I don't receive emails anymore from this forum for post replies or password request. I can't tell anymore when someone replies to a topic that either I have originated (like this one) or one I have contributed to unless I go to each and every topic and click on each one.

-Forum works efficiently only on a Windows non-AppleMac computer.

-Forum works dreadfully slow (3 min for ONE page to load) on a brand new Apple Mac computer using Firefox. Impossible to navigate using Safari. (4MBps)

As I wrote before, my access to a Windows XP computer using Internet Explorer is ending soon. I have to get feedback soon from someone who knows if there is anything I can do from my end to remedy this. I think the prob is on your end.

Someone please help me and soon.

 

I am having the same issues here. Mac with FF or Safari. Same problems with the RSS feeds.

I'm a IT guy myself and been thru server moves. I'll hang in there and help anyway I can.

I am receiving email now from the forum.

Have not tried the AppleMac FF or Safari.
