Default Help with Recon

I have a 2003 Recon and this past weekend I noticed a Hose that was connected to the Chunk in the Rear end The other end was draggin the Ground. I couldn't find where the open end connected to and we thought that it may just hang under the seat and act as a vent. If that is correct Praise The Lord!!!!
But if not Somebody Please tell me what it needs to be connected to, Thanks!!!!!!!

Default Help with Recon

I am going to go outside and look right now at my 99 Recon. I think that is just a vent hose.

It is a vent hose. There is two hoses. One is for the rear brake and the other is for the rear end and they both route together up to where the gas tank is. They both are routed in the same holders and hopefully one is in the correct location. You can see the end location if you take the seat off right above the carburetors.

Yes they do go up under the seat right by the gas tank. When you take off the seat you should be able to see a little spot on the tank to slide them in.

what ever u dont take it what it does is keeps the brakes and rear end diff from blowing apart because there pressuer build up when the atv is moving so by taking it of mudd can get in and block the vent
