minor Rincon issue
#1
I "lightly bumped" the front of my Rincon a short while back and was upset with the damage that was done for this minor tap. If you bump a Rincon just right on the front fenders by the upper outer corners of the headlights it breaks the headlight assembly. The fenders are soft and "give" but the light does not, therefore the headlight gets all of the pressure. I think it cost me around $65-$70 for the new light.
To help with this problem I ran a piece of 1"x 1/8th aluminum from the outermost mounting point of the headlight to the bolt that goes upwards through the front rack. All of this is up-under the wheel housings.
Each end gets drilled and bent a little to get it to fit. Very difficult to explain in words on here but it is very simple to do and adds alot of strenght to the outer corners of the headlight. It looks nice also and is well hidden. Just look in this area on your Rincon and you will see what I am refering to.
Thanks
