185S ATC carb problems, help!

Yeah, I've heard some of those kits aren't available anymore. Part numbers in this case don't always mean much. If possible, visually compare your old parts and the new. The needles should be the same length, and the needle jets the same length and outer diameter. If they are, I would personally give it a try. I've been using ATC200S needle jet sets for a whole variety of early 80's 185\200's. As far as the top end, those engines are really similar, if not virtually identical. You might try a search in the 3 wheeler forum. Seems to me this has been discussed over there too.

Thanks for the additional info guys.
I got my jet kit at a Honda dealer. It did not have all the extra stuff the aftermarket kits have in them, but the parts are correct in every way. The aftermarket rebuild kits are usually available on E-bay....& I think Dennis Kirk carries them too.
They have the needle valve too, but I'm not sure it is exactly the right one....(could be for a 200 rather than a 185), they sometimes say they fit both models. Thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
