Need help picking an atv
Hi,
I was just wondering, is there a max speed difference on the 350 rancher ES 4x2, and a 350 rancher ES 4x4.
I rented the 4x2 ES and I went about 44 mph (not sure if that is max). I do kind of enjoy the fishtailing on the 4x2, what other disadvantages/advantages will I be looking at.
Also what what is the max speed of a Foreman ES 4x2.
I'm Probably going to get the Rancher ES just not sure whether to get the 4 wheel or the 2 wheel. I would be riding mostly on trails, not much mud, and I would be using it around the house. I would like to get this trailer I saw at cosco wholesale and haul a light load around the house.
Thanks

Greetings mud thing
The cost for the Warn 424 select is about $270 total delivered. My friend bought one from Armordillo Ltd. www.atvtires.com
The Rancher gets better gas mileage, steers better on harder ground and has more power to the rear drive wheels when it is in 2 wheel drive thereby making it faster. It took us about 90 minutes to install it and it came with all the instructions but my friend had the work manual just in case we ran into any trouble "which we didn't" it was pretty straight forward. Rancher isa good quad but it sucks for working. if ur gonna tow heavy loads and things like that look at the foreman 450 es. And u wont have to decide 4x4 or 2 wheel drive cuase the foreman 450 got in and out 4x4. If ur lookin for a nice quad but not willing to pay the extera rancher will get the job done. but if u want a true work quad that will go anywhere anytime rain or shine get the foreman 450es.

o yeah speed well i have a rancher 4x4 350es and a foreman4x4/2x4 450es theres not much speed diff. i get my rancher doin 55 60 all the time on pavement. not great acceleratoin on the rancher but give it time and downslope it will do 55 to 60 . now the foreman will hit 55 to 60 easier and in less time. in all u wont do over 60 but were talkin full size utility quads. if ur not gonna work them take the racks off u might go a bit faster.
