Purcahse of Rancher TRX350FE & Wench & Snow Plow
#1
I'm thinking of buying a Honda Rancher TRX350FE with ES. I want to use it in the winter with a snow plow. Is the 350 big enough? I have looked into a wench (to lift the snow plow) and like the SuperWench ATV2000 but I can't find a Honda Snow Plow (or one that will attach to it) on the web. I haven't yet talked to a dealor about the snow plow. Do any of you folks have suggestions?

Last I heard around Christmas time was that Moose Products was suppose to have a plow for the Rancher. Cycle Country was still two months out. I have been waiting to get one for my Rancher but don't know which one to get. I would think the Rancher could do a good job plowing snow.

Let me start by saying that a Rancher should be very good for plowing snow. I base this on the fact that a friend has plowed his driveway for years with a 3004x4 with no problem. As far as a "wench", I've got to see a super "wench" 2000. Is that one of those life like blow up dolls? Sorry, couldn't help my self. Later Bob.

I purchased a 50" moose plow for my AC 500 auto. I had to wait for them to produce the mounting plate for my AC because of the auto being a new model (different running board setup where the plate mounts). I don't know if they have a mount kit for a Rancher yet. It's a heavy-duty plow - works great with a winch.

I have a Rancher 4x4 ES. I have the Superwinch 2000 and Cycle Country 48" plow. They work great. I would buy the larger blade plow if I had it to do all over again. The Rancher has no problem pushing snow. We had 12" of snow. Plowed my drive way, the bar's parking lot, and a few of my friend's driveways.
The only pain in the a$$ is shifting into reverse with the stupid safety button. I saw a post the other day explaining a work around for the reverse safety button. I will try that soon and let you know.
