I have a K&N filter on my 400 EX. There was an outwear lid cover that was velcrod on. What I want to do is take a stock honda lid and cut it out as large as I can without taking away its structural intergrity. Then I want to cover that opening with a fine mesh screen. I have seen some of this screen material that is gold colored and is super fine. Not even sure if water would go throught it but air word. Does anybody have any ideas as to what a person caould you and where they might find it?
