Rancher ES
#2
That seems like a very good price. THe ES is a pretty reliable shifting mechanism. Youll have alot of fun on that Rancher. They are very fun machines especially the 2wd. The 2wd will beat a 250EX in a race. But for utility and work with a little spice towards play you cant beat them. Have fun!

So far for us,the ES has been very reliable for both Recons. We haven't had any problems sincce we got them. After using a regular manual shift,I like the ES better.I think it also shifts a little smoother too.Have fun with that Rancher.

You simply cannot beat the Rancher. period.
My wife and I have been riding the Honda "ES" system (see below) for a couple of years, and I only had one temporary "glitch." Mine stuck in 4th -- I parked it, shifted into neutral with the little "back-up" shift lever, and it's been fine since.
Rancher is a wonderfully balanced machine, comfortable ride, fast on the trail, stable at speed, super-reliable, and corners like a sports car.
The only thing we would change on ours is to add an "unlocker", like Warn's 424, to let us switch to 2WD --- and yours already comes that way!
You're gonna love it!!
