How do i replace the left rear axle bearing in my foreman?
I was riding the foreman 400 today, and all of a sudden it started skreeching pretty bad in the rear end. I found where the noise was coming from.If your behind it, it is the left side of the axle tube bearing, and after i put some oil on that end, it left for a while, but then came right back a little while later, only worse, so im satisfied that the rear axle bearing in the far left of the axle tube is the problem. Now that im going to have to replace it, I might need some help. So, if anyone has ever had this problem before, or knows any tips/tricks on how to remove/replace the bearing, then i would appreciate it a lot. It would also help VERY MUCH if one of you could post a diagram of how the rear axle all goes together on a foreman 400 4x4. I shouldnt have to pull the whole axle out should I ?Is the bearing sealed, or not? Thanks a lot for any help.I will keep you all updated on how it goes.
