what would it take to make a 450s a 650s

I read a article in the high lifter Web last night where a guy took a 400 Honda and made it a 550. how much would this cost? would it be worth the money? I bet it would be one mean muddin machine. what do you'll think???

You would need a different jug. It would be impossible to stork it more than Scott has, because he had to trim a gasket because the crank was hitting it. I think he used the Highlifter big bore kit for his jug.
I bet you could go bigger but not 100 cc's more than he has. Besides he can stand his 550 on its back rack now, and thats with tires that add 60 lbs each on the front.

Arctic Cat 500, Don't worry I'll pull you out.

Hey TRICLAW!
We started talking about that some over in the High Lifter Forums. I, also, would be interested in a 500 or 550 kit. Not that the 450 doesn't have enough power already, but as the old saying goes "You can't have enough power!"
"KEEP THE MUD SLINGIN'!!!"
