try going to all the forums and read the comments and look for the posts that talk about problems of each brand.i have a Z400 and honestly,if i could design a quad it would be the z400 engine in the 400EX chassis..i know someone who owns a banshee,raptor,and a 400 EX and he weighs about 230 lbs.he likes the 400EX much better than the raptor because it is more user friendly in the woods.the raptor has a long stroke and he said its more of a pain in the a$$ to ride in the woods he also said the raptor brakes are crap(too spongey)the banshee is only good for wide open areas..not in the woods..especially in the north east.and i have the Z400 the frame sucks(just dont hit anything) the chain adjustment is a joke,but it moves!!!!i heard you can get a spankin new 400 ex for 3500.

 

The best all around sport quad for me would have to include reverse. For those reasons the Z-400 or the Raptor seem like the best.

 

if u really want a "all around" quad....i wouldnt go with a sport because they cant do everything...plus they get hing up on rocks easier...and the sprockets get bent

I would take the prairie it's fast, four wheel drive, can pull a fairly heavy load, and it handles pretty good. For sport quads I still like the z and raptor.

 

What about the kfx700. It has the most ground clearence for a sport quad.
