To Tim1, your price lists are all wrong, as is most information on this topic. The Hondas list prices are $6199.00 for the S and $6399.00 for the ES. The list price for the Mag500 is $6499.00. I think you would make a good student of the Clinton art of speaking, giving people the best price you can get on the Polaris and then giving the list price for the Honda. As with Mr. Clinton your not lying, but you sure aren't telling the truth. For those who are interested you should be able to pick up a 450 Honda in the $5600.00 to $5900.00 range, depending on your shifting preference.

I did some checking on the price, in MN you can get the 450 for 300- 500 bucks cheaper than the mag, nice try buddy. Don't even bother posting if you don't know what your talking about.

As for the liquid cooling on the rubicon, I guess honda enginers figured it needed it. Not sure about excess heat that would be created by the new transmission. I can assure you that the radiator isn't stuck low and won't be as prone to clog up like the sportsmans do.

But I'm pretty sure were talking about the mag versus the foreman, and my point is that the foreman doesn't need liquid cooling - have never seen one overheat. After a good mud run I do see a lot of sp500's with there temp lights on. Don't believe me read some old polaris forum material.

HONDA riders are like women fill the gas tank and when it breaks for lack of maintanance or lack of EASE OF MAINTENANCE call the polaris sponsored [HONDA RESCUE TEAM]1-800-HONDA S*CKS.

These are Canandian prices but our Honda dealer wants $7900 for a Foreman450 and the Polaris dealer wants $8000 for a Magnum .

So the $6399 Forman sells for $5900 what does the $6499 Magnum sell for? Up here the is only $100 differance between them.I got the $5599 retail price of the Magnum from a Jan.99 Dirtwheels Magazine atv buyers guide but they had the Foremans price right.

Tim1, this sounds a little different than your earlier post which stated that the foreman was 600 - 800 bucks more than the magnum. And now your telling us the magnum is more money than the foreman? Glad we're real clear on this!

Like I said I got the retail price from a Jan 99 Dirtwheels buyers guide.I did call both dealers for real world prices and there is a $100 more for a Magnum which is not much for a size and feature it has over the Foreman.Your not going to bore out a Foreman 66cc more, add liguid cooling, give it 4valve , add selectable 4wd and add taller suspension for $100.

My only point was that many people were probably mislead about the price difference because of your first post.

A few other features you don't get with the foreman - faulty tie-rods, short brake life, diminished resale and more maintance.
