a quadzilla motor can be built to be competitive, but only a few exist. Even with all these motors named the 250r bottom end has been the fastest. The 250r bottom end has ran into the 3's in the 100 yards with a hybrid cylinder. Most typically you'll see 250r's running 4.1's-4.4's now. You will very rarely see a cr500 or an lt500 running these times

From my limited experience, the only thing I usually see in the 4's are drag Banshee's....typical 250r /w wheelie bar and drag pipe will run low 5's.

so i guess when my gas 370 honda running 4.9's on a stock chassis without a wheelie bar and a trx 5 inframe pipe isnt typical?

Even stock cylindered, stock framed, 250's on methanol are running 4.8's.

If you get into the big drag hondas upwards of 480cc's in stretched out chassis your talking bikes capable of hitting 3.9's to 4.4's.

When i went to primm for the nationals there were 3 honda's running consistant 4.1's and 4.2's all day long. One was a 440 and the other a 475

Your bike is borderline...."R" guys throw a Wiseco in, add porting, a drag pipe and a wheelie bar for racing. Low buck approach. With enough money, anything is possible....I agree with the potential and examples. But. with the same cash outlay, a banshee is a quicker racer no doubt.

common misconception. Banshee's are not quicker then honda's. They have a better top speed, but not quicker. What it takes to make a good running 350 banshee is around 2500 (Case work, porting, head work, top end, intakes, pipes, ignition, crank). For what it takes to make a good honda, is about 2500(including cylinder). Banshee's are no cheaper.

You give me 3800 bucks and i know a guy who can make a honda go 4.1's all day long. Thats cheaper then building a t-rex/cheetah/superior sleeve/pro-x banshee that will run 4.0's-4.2's

If your racing a ported banshee with only pipes and a bar your not going to be considered a drag bike.

The Banshee starts out with a 100 more cc and another cylinder and intimately has more power potential. Where do we draw the line as too when we can categorize a bike as a "drag" bike....I say when you add a wheelie bar, it's a freakin drag bike. Trail bike? GNCC ready? Nope...drag bike....

so put a wheelie bar on an lt80 and its a drag bike? A drag bike is a purpose built bike. Not a trail bike oaked up to run the strip.

put a wheelie bar on a stock raptor, is it a drag bike? Not hardly.

Wheelie bar on anything = drag bike. E.T. is so subjective that one can not lay a blanket statement saying a set E.T. determines a "drag bike". A guy that runs a 4.0 may consider your 4.9 bike a toy and certainly not a "drag bike". Later bro!
