The hubs don't have bearings...they bolt to the axle wich connects to the bearing housing which has the bearings in it

No problem, I am going to by some paddles for my wifes V-force,and thought of going ahead and getting a 400ex hub, so I can order some 8" rims and 8 paddle triple buffs for it.

Do the axles have the same splines?

 

yep, I hear that a stock 400ex hub will slip right on the V-force axle. Samcoeds has already done his V.

Where the hell u buying your hubs? I was quoted a price of $119.05 EACH!! I bouhgt some on e-bay for $100 NIB plus free shipping using the "buy-now" option. Sorry to say , stockers are cheap...even the fronts are under $40 with bearings installed, are you talking wheel hubs?

 

Get the part numbers for a 2002 or greater model. All 400EX hubs are the same, except for the price.
