Drilling holes in a stock 400ex muffler?

Here is a novel idea. Why don't you just buy a really good aftermarket exhaust system for your 400EX.... you get the power AND you save weight (usually) over the stocker.

No pain in drilling, welding, etc, etc...

Because that $300-700 could be spent on something else like a 440 or 426 kit and/or a cam or works front shocks or +2 a arms or a rear shock.......and it would be better and quieter.
