I am getting my TRX450R before it hits the showroom floor....goodbye Z400 who gives a crap ill throw my Z in the trash for this trx450r....rumor has it that its supposed to be 10-20 lbs lighter than the yfz....maybe that will make up for the lack of power that honda has a knowing for [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I don't think your going to find it on Honda's site until Sept 10th. They might hint at something new when the date gets closer but for now we have a dealer's bulletin which means it isn't meant for the public to know.
I thought the CRF motor was lighter than the YFZ motor. I thought Honda claimed something like the entire CRF450 motor only weighs 55 pounds.
I just checked both web site and both manufacturers claim a dry wieght of 222 pounds for each bike so I'm thinking the engines are pretty close in wieght although the Honda has an aluminum frame and the YZF has a steel frame so I guess the YZF motor could be a little lighter but I thought the CRF was supposed to be the lightest engine in it's class. But what do I know anyways......lol?

ill guaruntee that the new honda will kick major *** becuz the 400ex is aircooled but it is still one of the best mx bikes around and then u have the 250r which IS the best mx bike around just figured i 'd set the record straight
