I think Honda will have atleast a 10-20lb advantage on the yfz and will most likely ...what do i mean most likely?! it will handle better than the yfz!

 

I am interested to see on what the frame of this 450 is going to look like. I wonder if it's going to be the traditional steel frame, or if they will go with an aluminum frame like the Cannondale.

 

i wouldnt doubt it. If they can made a 250R in the '80s in about the 330 pound range, then they can def do it with this bike today. the 250r engine only has a few pounds advantage on the 450 engine. They are adding an electric starter and battery- thats adds alittle weight- but knowing honda - i can almost bet when it's said and done that it's lighter than the yamaha. yamahas have always seemed to be abit heavier than their honda rivals.

 

im alittle concerned about the front shocks too. but it is a sketch and not an actual photo.
in the pic i see (the sketch) it looks like there is an orange thing by the shock...could be a poorly detailed rezzie hanging off the shock??? time will tell.

I'm glad I lived to see this day but I probably should wait now for the CRF450 powered walker or better yet, the CRaFmatic 450 fully adjustable hospital bed.

I just called my Grandpa, he sounded real excited! He ought to, he's been waiting on this quad since high school!

I'll own the first one from Valley Honda, done put my deposit down but then again I put deposits down in 02 and 01. Couple of more years and it would of been pre-paid!

I was told that the front lights were gonna look like the CBR's, guess they kinda do. The front nose piece suppossedly comes off easily in one piece and can be replaced by a Honda nose piece for racing like the 88-89's.

I have to say this makes me very excited. If this quad is has good as all the honda's I've ridden down through the years I'll be getting one.
Nothing runs like a Honda I've put them through hell and they have stood up to more then other quads I've ridden.
