Default ex or shee

hi, I'm buying a new quad soon, and I can get a 400ex for about the same price as a banshee in good shape were I live, so I was wondering what is the difference of the two stock
What are the top speeds?
By how much will the banshee beat the 400ex on a 1/4 mile race?
Is the banshee REALLY loud compared to the 4 stroke 400ex?
What power do they have in : Lowend, Mid, High
And if u know some other differences, like wich has a stronger frame or whatever, than plz tell me. Any info will help.

Well, the banshee has a higher top speed of about 77,79 mph where the ex has a top speed of 68 mph. I do not know exactly how much one will beat a 400ex on a 1/4 mile but it should beat it by alot. For a stock quad its louder than most but the 400ex is quieter.the 400ex has the banshee in lowend but the banshee has it in mid and top end.Im sure the 400ex has a stronger frame than the banshee, but ive hit 80 ft gaps on mine and the only thing that broke was a shock. but the 400ex is definatly a better mxer than the banshee with the good lowend power. good luck with your new quad.

People allways ask these questions, ride them both and see which one you like better, it's that simple.

You dont always have to work on one, you just need to get it rebuilt every 5 years or so,most people dont keep them long enough to have to rebuild them.

Personally i think my next quad will be a shee. I have a thumper and now i want something fast. I love my ex but i don't want to end up waiting so long that they outlaw them.
