IM thinkin about putting and after market exaust on my honda recon and i was wondering if its going to hurt the engine, and will it give a noticeable power gain. PLease help me???!!!!????

 

good question, but no replys i'd like to no the answer to this as i have been pondering the thought and having the same thoughts ..will it hurt my engine?

 

because it been proven some back pressure on the exaust produces more air flow =power,whatever so if some1 just uncorks there ehaust will it hurt it because honda engineers are pretty smart is there a need for this? is it a seat of the pants difference with it?

as long as you rejet the carb it will not hurt a thing. and yes a good pipe will give you a noticeable power gain [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Is a super trapp exaust a good pipe for a recon and should i buy the whole system or just the silencer. Thanks

 

I have a super trapp on my mojave and I like it. you will get more power with the complete system.
