What is the new Rancher 4x4 like in the mud and water. Whats the deepest you have had it in water or mud, I would like to know because Iam looking at one and I love the mud.

I went from a Recon to a Rancher in April. If you were amazed like I was about the mud the Recon can handle, you will be blown away by the Rancher. For a 350, this machine will just about go anywhere!!! I am one of these guys that can't refuse a challenge from my riding buddies when it comes to mud pits. Got to try them all atleast once!! The rancher let me down ONCE, but this hole I can now classify more as a pond then a watery mud hole (my first clue should have been the duck swimming in it when I approached, I am not kidding!) Other then the "pond" this thing has gone through everything. The only thing that will stop it, just like any other quad, it getting hung up on the frame. Have ridden all kinds of quads and the Rancher is the best by far so far, plush, smooth ride, gobs of torque, and while a bit slow, she will go for a utility class machine. As you can probably tell, I am very happy with my Rancher.

I'VE GOTTEN MY RANCHER 4X4ES STUCK ONLY ONCE IN MUD. THE MUD HAD THE CONSISTENCY OF FRESHLY POURED CONCRETE. THE MUD WAS COMING UP THROUGH THE FLOORBOARDS AND THE RIGHT REAR TIRE WAS COMPLETELY SUBMERGED. AND THE BAD PART OF ALL OF THIS WAS THAT I WAS RIDING ALONE. I USED NEARBY RIVER ROCKS AND DOWNED TREE LIMBS BENEATH THE REAR TIRES TO BACK OUT OF THE MUD. NOW I'M IN THE MARKET FOR A REASONABLY PRICED BUT DEPENDABLE WINCH. PLAY HARD AND RIDE OFTEN.
