I just cleaned my airfilter on my 400ex 01 and put Belray filter oil on it but right away i noticed a huge lack of HP, is this normal???

I am thinking about buying a K&N airfilter is there a jet kit also that I have to buy if I get the filter? What do u reccomend??[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

What i did before i got my k&n is clean my stock filter real good then spray wd 40 on it that oythjer stuffs blocks air flow if u ask me.

 

I have had the same problem in the past with belray.
the oil dries like glue on the filter.
I use PJ1 foam filter oil and they make in a spray can for your k&N style filters.
I have never had a problem with PJ1 and the oil does not set up like glue and washes out easily.
